We are looking for a motivated Human Resources Specialist to join our Human Resources Team!

Responsibilities of Human Resources Specialist:

  • Creating and executing strong proactive sourcing strategies and campaigns to increase time to fill outcomes with an engaged talent pool
  • Providing an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate from application stage to offer, evaluating skill level, driving the interview process and offer process, including salary recommendations and closing of candidates
  • Communicating effectively with the Human Resources team to ensure preparedness during the interview process
  • Working with department leads/ managers to understand the needs of the company, requirements, and expectations of the jobs and qualifications of individuals for prospective employment in a wide range of positions within the company structure,
  • Helping to identify sources of potential employment candidates (talent mining – attending networking events, making use of online tools, coordinating with universities, through social media, career fairs),
  • Identifying future talent needs and proactively recruiting and sourcing; developing talent pool or social engagements,
  • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment including screening potential employees, conducting initial interviews (phone & face to face)
  • Ensuring that people with the right skill sets are matched with available positions,
  • Working with Human Resources and Marketing Departments to architect and execute an Employer Branding plan that aligns with the overall communications strategy of the company
  • Continually conducting market analysis regarding recruiting best practices, competitors, talent pools/insights, and market changes
  • Finding the right talent from the crowd,
  • Take an active role in the development of all HR processes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with previous 4-6 years of experience in recruiting for tech/engineering roles preferably in a fast-paced environment,
  • Excellent command of verbal and written English
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build relationships,
  • A track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, integrity, and proven organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Obsessive about candidate experience
  • Self-aware, well-spoken on the phone
  • Solution-driven and have a growth mindset
  • Flexible, fearless, and excited to help build and expand this mission-driven organization
  • Highly motivated and have a strong interest in being a connector between the candidates and Borda
  • Confident, creative, and able to think of solutions quickly,
